Food Farm 4.0 è un laboratorio territoriale per l’occupabilità nel settore della Food Industry, nato per iniziativa del Polo Scolastico Agroindustriale e di cinque Istituti superiori parmensi: una vera e propria azienda in cui tutti i prodotti sono curati da studenti, a partire da materie prime di alta qualità e sostenibili.
Food Farm 4.0 is a Parma-area-based laboratory for employment in the Food Industry sector. This project was created by the Agribusiness School Centre and five Parma secondary schools: it is an actual company in which all the products are taken care of by the students, starting from high quality sustainable raw materials.

Visitare produzione e lavorazione dei frutti della terra, nel rispetto della tradizione e in modo semplice, grazie anche alla filiera corta. Tra le produzioni caratteristiche conserve, marmellate come fatte in casa, succhi di frutta, passata di pomodoro, formaggi e prodotti da forno. Verrà poi illustrato il modello di business di Food Farm 4.0: tutto l’utile ottenuto dalla vendita dei prodotti viene reinvestito all’interno della struttura, ad esempio per l’acquisto di tecnologia, così da dare continuità al progetto.
You will learn about how the fruits of the earth are grown and processed in a simple and traditional way, also thanks to the short supply chain. Among the typical products you will find preserves, jams that could be home-made, fruit juices, tomato sauce, cheese and baked goods. The Food Farm 4.0 business model will also be explained: all of the profits from the sale of products will be reinvested in the company, for example to purchase technology, in order to give continuity to the project.
